What a weekend! How did we achieve such a wonderful display and such amazing weather? All our hard work over many months paid off handsomely as we welcomed several thousand people of all ages from all over the country to our spectacular AIRSHOW. The RED ARROWS were once again exciting, enthralling and above all, superb with their 23 minute show of perfect aerobatics which thrilled everybody who saw them.

We are very grateful to the RAF for allowing the ARROWS to come to Windermere once again and we are hoping that they have enabled us to raise substantial amounts to donate to our chosen charities. Additionally the RAF presented aerobatics by a Tucano turbo prop aircraft and the ear shattering Typhoon, known to us all as The Eurofighter. It was a magnificent demonstration of the power and speed of our latest aircraft to join the RAF's remarkable line up of equipment.

So, very many thanks RAF! We would also like to thank all the other contributors to the weekend, from falcons and dogs to the Army and their climbing wall, the steam train and the bands which entertained the crowds between the flying displays, not forgetting all the bouncy castles and other attractions on the Glebe and the Entertainment Arena.

We thoroughly enjoyed the music of Duncan MacFarlane and his Orchestra who entertained St Martin's church full of folk on Saturday evening - an excellent prelude to Sunday's more energetic activities!
